Office Administrator

Due to retirement Office Administrator required for a growing Occupational Health Company based in Blackpool. This is a challenging role set in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate must be highly organised, focused on detail, and possessing good communication skills, medical background preferred but not essential. Main duties and responsibilities: - Provide general administrative support across all areas of the business - Receive external telephone calls, take messages and re-direct calls to the appropriate personnel - Carry out general IT related tasks including word processing, updating of spread sheet or database applications and internet research - Process incoming and outgoing post and arrange courier collections - Greet visitors and clients - Assist with planning travel arrangements and booking accommodation - Assist with ordering of consumables and arrange maintenance/repairs of equipment - Writing and dispatching of routine or straightforward letters - Maintain records, filing systems and computer files - Provide basic office cover for holidays and other absences Salary £17000 per year, 40 hours per week, company pension. Nurse

Registered Nurse required to join an established Occupational Health Company providing health screening nationwide. This would be an ideal position for somebody wishing to progress into a career in Occupational Health. Full training would be given to the right candidate; a clean driving licence is essential as the role includes driving company vehicles and incurs travelling extensively throughout the UK with overnight stays. Initially working closely with an Occupational Health Technician so must be a team player and good communicator. Responsibilities Hearing Tests Lung Function Test Vision Screening Musculoskeletal Assessments HAVS Tier 1 - 3 Skin Assessments General well-being Blood Sampling Vaccinations For the successful candidate ongoing development will be supported, with opportunity to develop skills in sickness and absence management, HAVS cases and fitness to work.
